Harbortouch CEO Teases New POS Functionality Including Mobile, Online Ordering
Harbortouch CEO Jared Isaacman issued a statement today to merchants regarding a number of important updates for the company, including some notable re-structuring as the company relaxes into it's role as a leading POS provider
But perhaps the highlight of the press release was the tease of some new functionality coming to Harbortouch, some which I've known about for some time that I've been chomping at the bit to see!
Here are some exciting details straight from the horse's mouth:
"We [have] a number of technology initiatives coming to fruition
Lighthouse 3.0 - The latest iteration of Lighthouse will add new functionality to the existing offering as well as improve performance and reliability. It will also be expanding to our other software types in the near future.
Tableside 2.0 - Tableside 2.0 will reintroduce our order-at-the-table initiative with a completely overhauled solution that is much more user-friendly and reliable than the original offering
Online Ordering - This service will allow restaurants with a Harbortouch POS system to accept orders online through a customized and branded menu from the merchant's website. When customers place an order online, a ticket will automatically be generated within the POS system. This solution will be fully integrated with your existing POS menu to provide a seamless experience."
Really excited to see the online ordering system that's being touted here - something simple that works directly with an existing POS sounds fantastic!
